IMExDesk (“we”, “us”) provides logistics billing and trade tools for Bangladesh import/export professionals. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can reach us.
1. Data we collect
- Account data — name, email, password hash, company/office details when you sign up.
- Usage data — port-bill calculations you run, HS lookups, tracking queries, and related audit logs needed for quotas and support.
- Support submissions — emails, messages, and bill documents you send for mismatch review.
- Lead forms — name, email, and mobile when you request access or support from the marketing site.
- Technical logs — IP address, timestamps, and basic request metadata for security and rate limiting.
2. How we use data
- Operate IM Expert (authentication, plans, quotas, billing accuracy tools).
- Respond to support and bill-mismatch reviews.
- Improve reliability and prevent abuse.
- Contact you about beta access or account issues when you opted in.
3. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may share data with infrastructure providers (hosting, email delivery, CDN) strictly to run the service, or when required by Bangladesh law.
4. Retention
Account and operational records are kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for security, audit, and dispute resolution. Short-lived calculation logs are purged on a scheduled retention window.
5. Security
Passwords are stored hashed. Sessions use HTTP-only cookies. Access to admin tooling is restricted. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure; we apply industry-standard controls appropriate to enterprise logistics data.
